A brief summary of the services offered by blogger:
'Blogger is a blog storage service that allows private or multi-user blogs with time-stamped entries. It is funded by on-screen ads. It was created by Pyra Labs, which was bought by Google in 2003.The service itself is located at http://www.blogger.com/. Generally, the blogs are hosted by Google at sub-domains of blogspot.com.'

A blog is like a diary where anyone can write anything they want about things happening in their life... or other peoples lives (like celebrities).
Another blog host is WordPress.com
